The pursuit of the knowledge of the blessed life of Jesus Christ is
the most noble occupation anybody can have in this life or beyond.
This volume, entitled, ‘Jesus, the Priest’ is written with that need in
view. This is the third volume in the series on the life of Jesus Christ.
This covers the last one week of Jesus’ earthly sojourn, often called
as the Passion Week.
After the Triumphal Entry, His arrival at Jerusalem offering
Himself as the King of the Jews, Jesus returned to Bethany. In the
morning He comes with His disciples to the Temple. He would teach
the people gathered for the Passover feast. The Jewish leaders would
murder Jesus as they saw Him as a threat to their establishment.
Jesus’ answers, teachings, His trials, crucifixion, resurrection and
ascension are the contents of this book. Teachings, prayers,
intercessions and offering sacrifices are priestly works. Thus the title
‘Jesus the Priest’ is given for the volume.
The language is simple, vivid and easy to follow. The lessons are
good for serious students and the ordinary readers as well. The
analysis of the events, exposition of the passages with practical
applications, would be helpful to any reader

THOMSON B THOMAS is an Evangelist and Bible
teacher, based in Mumbai. He holds a Master’s Degree
in Religion and Philosophy. He contributes regularly to
Christian periodicals and has authored books such as
Growing in Christian Life, The Eternal Spirit of God,
Jesus the Sovereign, Jesus the Prophet and many
